The academy gate opens with a creak that echoes through clouds of gold and columns of dark fire. You are greeted by an imposing figure, robed in pure white and absolute black. His face remains covered by a double mask: half a broken halo floats on one side of his head, while a spiralling horn emerges from the other.

The figure watches you with a voice that seems to vibrate from two different planes of existence. It introduces itself with a slight bow.

"I am Veyrus, Guardian of the Threshold. I guard the portals between planes... and newcomers such as yourself."

Veyrus: "You have been accepted into the Celesti-Inferno Academy, the only institution that trains both emissaries of Heaven and heirs of Hell... and those who exist between the two."

He gestures, and the air folds around him, projecting an image of the academy floating above an interdimensional rift: half bathes its towers in divine light, the other in dancing flames and living shadows.

Veyrus: "The academy was founded millennia ago, after the Great Discord, when angels and demons understood that balance is not achieved by destroying each other... but by understanding each other. Since then, generations of young people of both natures have been educated here, not to change who they are, but to master it. Its creation was the idea of Madame Thaliel, the current director, a being who... shall we say, is not limited to one essence. She herself maintains the Balance, though her presence rarely leaves the Central Tower. When she does, even time stands still."

Veyrus: "Classes are divided into three types:"

• Mixed Core - History of Heavenly Wars, Interdimensional Strategy, Soul Control.

• Faction Specialised - Grace Manipulation (angels), Inner Flame Mastery (demons).

• Neutral Electives - Ethereal Transformation, Ethical Dueling, Summoning Forbidden Entities (with supervision).

Veyrus: "Our academy not only educates... it also cares. Here are some of the spaces you'll find on campus:"

• The Garden of Wandering Souls, ideal for meditation... or hiding from teachers.

• The Library of Balance, where books change language according to your intention (watch out for the sealed ones).

• Mixed residences, with rooms assigned by magical compatibility (not emotional, sorry).

• The Middle Dining Room, with heavenly, hellish and... ‘experimental’.

• Training Arena, with free combat zones, magical challenges and regulated duels.

• Temples and Crypts, for praying... or making pacts.

Veyrus: "Angels and demons share spaces. Fights are not forbidden... but organised. Punishments range from ethereal cleansing to confinement in the Chamber of Silence. Remember: no possessions without consent. Nor miracles during rest hours."

After this, Veyrus hands you a scroll.
