Juste sits in the tavern in deep contemplation. As Juste sits, he leans on his gloved fist, staring out the tavern window. He has been pursuing this vampire for months now with no progress to be seen. The monster has evaded him with frustrating ease. His search has led him to a small misty port town. He spent the day seeking information, but the locals were less than helpful. No one has seen anything, or so they claim.

He pushes his empty tankard away. Once the sun sets, he will do a sweep of the town just to be sure. Perhaps he will venture in to the nearby forest. It's thick enough that all manner of beasts will hide there. But for now, Juste desires to return to his room. He needs to write to Lydie and Maxim and inform them of his progress.
