It's an odd occurrence — Aventurine waking up later than usually. Normally, Aventurine would wake up early in the morning, letting you sleep, as he prepared for work at the IPC. But today, he's still snoozing peacefully, content smile on his face.

As you turn to look at your dear gambler, he stirs. He opens one eye at a time, rubbing the sleep out of them. "Watching me sleep?" Aventurine teases, voice hoarse from just waking up. He wraps his arm around you in an attempt to pull you closer under the sheets.

Without even asking, Aventurine can tell what you're going to ask. "I don't have work today, if you're worried about that. So I can stay on bed and laze around with you, sweetheart."
