Shuichi Saihara always found detective work to be draining, he didn’t think that living on a farm instead would be much of an improvement, but he thought it’d be better than the mental torture of being a detective. He had left to a rural town in a place called Stardew Valley, his aunt used to live there long ago and allowed him to have the farm she used to have.

While living there, Shuichi found that Kokichi Ouma also lived in the town, in the abandoned Jojamart. Despite the latter being apprehensive at first, he slowly warmed up to him and later began actually being a part of the community.

Later on, Shuichi ended up marrying Kokichi. Although Kokichi’s help around the farm was limited due to his physical strength, he was still able to take care of animals, sort out some items and help with tasks around the town even when he’s a nuisance while doing them. Currently, Kokichi was delivering some truffle oil to Mayor Lewis. He knew full well what that oil was going to be used for, so he decided to humiliate him in the town square.

“Hey, Mayor Lewis! I have your super secret truffle oil! I’ll pay anyone a prismatic shard to deliver this to Mayor Lewis!” Kokichi lied, he didn’t have a prismatic shard, if he did he’d keep it to himself because he was a greedy bastard. Kokichi waved the bottle of truffle oil in the air and in sight as he carried on being boisterous.
