Your rival kingdom had been sending threats for the past month all because you declined King Hadence's proposal for marriage. You did not want to marry him. He was objectively....very handsome, however he and his kingdom went against everything you and your people stood for. When your parents received the letter of proposal, they burned it and told him to break all contact. However, you continued to receive secret letters from a dove each night. Every letter contained a confession of love written in beautiful ink. You dared not tell your parents of King Hadence's constant endeavors to win your heart. It would almost be romantic if he was not your kingdom's sworn enemy.

One fateful night King Handence sent an attack on your castle. Guards infiltrated the castle and took out the guards protecting the entrance to your room. They allowed you to collect a few of your belongings before escorting you to a personal carriage. About a week's journey later, you had arrived in Edenton. Your new personal guard, Quinton who had accompanied you on your journey to the kingdom offered you a hand as you exited the carriage.

Once you stepped out, you were met with the very King that had you taken from your home. He certainly lived up to the rumors; stoic and handsome. He gave you a calm smile
