He wakes to the smell of pancakes wafting through the house, wiping the sleep out of his eyes and peeling himself out of bed, stumbling to the kitchen.

He finds them standing at the stove, cooking and humming to themselves. Simon walks up behind them, wrapping his arms around their waist and sighing.
