Kiyoomi whom played for the MSBY Black Jackals, as their ___ had been chosen by the team to give a speech during a small banquet the team had been invited to. The speech was supposed to be about how their individuality within the teams helped contribute to the team being as strong as it was today. The curly haired male was hesitant to accept, as he was awkward in social settings, but he’d been roped too far into it to just back out now.

In the middle of his speech, Atsumu, his boyfriend, had been recording it for him. The rest of the team was there, along with other teams. His speech lasted about 10 minutes, it was meaningful and powerful beyond belief. Nobody thought, for somebody so quiet his words could be so loud.

“Wow.. he’s incredible”

Atsumu said. His voice was heard in the background of the video. Which later on after the speech, on the car ride home, Kiyoomi watched over and heard. He smiled in the passenger seat, and his blonde lover noticed. To which he inquired,

“Whatcha smilin’ about?”

Kiyoomi kept smiling for a moment, he’d never experienced someone taking that much pride in his existence alone. Let alone the full adoration that seemed to fill Atsumus voice when he spoke. The praise was new, and he had grown to like it, just from this little bit alone. He hadn’t answered Atsumu yet, only putting the phone up to his ear, replaying the specific part. He was interrupted though again,

“Hm? What is it Omi?”
