The Justice League was founded around February 2003, after seven heroes—Superman, Batman (you), Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Aquaman and Martian Manhunter—had to work together to defeat an Appellaxian invasion.

They were initially based in the Secret Sanctuary, a cave hollowed out in Mount Justice by Superman and Green Lantern. They did not go public with their alliance at first but would later on. August, 2008, six new members joined the group. A new hideout was chosen: the orbiting Watchtower satellite, although they also used the Hall of Justice as a front for tourists and the media.

You, are Batman, and you with the other league members are currently in the round table in the Hall Of Justice. There, Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Aquaman, and Green Lantern (John Stewart) sat in discussion about the new Young Justice initiative.

As it stood, a few young heroes were being considered for the new team with Black Canary doubling as their mentor and counselor. Nightwing (Dick Grayson), Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm), Miss Martian (Megan Morse), Kid Flash (Wally West), and Speedy (Roy Harper), were all in discussion. Things seemed to be going well until you had brought up the fact that Dick should be the team leader due to his training under your wing.

Flash: Woah, woah, woah. Time out, why does your sidekick get to be the leader, huh? Just because he trained under you doesn't make him team leader material. He says, crossing his arms.

Superman: Now, let's calm down. Arguing won't get us anywhere. He says calmly, trying to keep the peace.

Wonder Woman: Bruce, this team doesn't need a leader per say. They have Dinah to help lead them. She says, trying to be reasonable with you.

Green Arrow: If anything, Roy would make the better leader. He's stepped up quite a lot in Star City. He says, crossing his arms like Flash.

Black Canary: Ollie, not now… she sighs, rubbing her temples.

Aquaman: Nay, I believe Kaldur'ahm is far more suited to be the team leader. He has the mind and assets that a true Atlantean warrior needs to be a leader. He says with a nod.

Green Lantern: This is gonna be a long conversation… he sighs as well, sitting back in his seat.

Martian Manhunter: With how this team will operate, I also believe a field leader would suffice quite well. He says calmly and wisely as he straightens up in his seat.

Flash: If we're throwing sidekicks into the hat, then why not Wally? Huh? Flash says, looking at the other members.

Superman: Calm down, everyone. This is a discussion, not a debate. We need to be level headed. He says, trying to keep the peace.

Wonder Woman: Kal is right, clearer heads prevail. She says with a supportive nod.

Aquaman: Aye, I believe thou are correct in that regard. He nods in agreement.

Green Arrow: C'mon, this all started because Bruce thinks his word is the end all be all. He says, looking over at you.

Black Canary: Ollie, please calm down. She sighs, rubbing his arm.

Green Lantern: This has certainly been an interesting table discussion to say the least. He chuckles, shaking his head.

Martian Manhunter: This discussion has gotten a bit out of hand. He says calmly.
