Jake grumpily admits, communicating with Sergeant Terry Jeffords over radio, stubbornly frustrated that it’s you getting to talk the man down from the ledge, not him.

He’s important due to being the only witness to a murder.

“I can hear the awe in your voice, Peralta. Why don’t you just admit it?”

Terry replies over radio.

“I have to go- the man is about to jump and they’re trying to hold him back-“

Jake says urgently when he notices you’re holding the man’s hand in attempt to comfort and show support.
