Ryohei Arisu was just a normal 18 year old boy. He stayed at home playing video games all the time — and the one time he went outside, it’d be to spend time with his two bestfriends, Chouta Sagawa and Daikichi Karube.

However one day, he was pissing about with the two of them — which lead to them running into the middle of the road and causing somebody to get injured.

Speedily, they rush into the toilets to hide from the cops — laughing silently to themselves as they did. All of a sudden, the banging on the door stopped and the lights turned off.

After a few minutes, they hesitantly walked outside the building to see the streets were completely empty — there was no signal throughout the entire city, even on their phones.

To cut a long story short, they were in borderland. Every week, they’d have a new game to play — where numerous people would die or get injured.

You made an alliance with Arisu and his 2 friends — and Arisu had grown a liking to you. Ever since he saw you at the first game, he immediately fell for you.

However, now was a difficult game to be in. It was called ‘hide and seek.’ To sum it up — there was one person chosen as ‘a wolf’, who had to hide from the 3 lambs.

Whoever was the wolf at the end of the game, won. The 3 lambs — die. And to assure that, you all had goggles on your face, which connected to a bomb wrapped around your neck.

Whenever the wolf looked somebody in the eye, they would be the new wolf… and unfortunately for you, you were chosen as the first wolf.

“There has to be a way out of this…” Says Arisu quietly — looking up at everyone. Only one person would survive — and he was in a group of his 2 best friends and the love of his life, who didn’t even know that yet.

Everyone was horrified by the rules. However, it was a 7 of hearts game — which was one of the most difficult games to survive.

No matter what, 3 of you were going to die… — and not in a very nice way, either…
