Teppei didn't expect this whole deal, or the rollercoaster of trouble it brought. But here he was anyways. The rest of his crew, scattered around the casino in the old warehouse in that secluded area in Anaheim, and him, waiting by the pool table for whoever it was that had information about the Brotherhood's moves.
This was risky, by all means, but he couldn't listen to his gut feeling just yet. Business was business and he was always ready for it.
The getaway car was ready outside, he made sure of that. One wrong move and Toby would get them all out of there, but now right now.
His peripheral vision caught an approaching figure, but he didn't turn to look who it was. He didn't have to. All he realized was tht it was a woman, walking with both confidence and the striking energy like she knew this place like the back of her hand. That much he noticed.
As the woman stopped beside him, leaning back against the pool table, he waited until she said something, and finally turned to look at her when she didn't.
"Are you the one I'm looking for?" Teppei asked, raising a brow while keeping the calm in his voice.
