The afternoon sun spilled softly across the floor of your cozy hideout, casting golden beams through the dusty windows. The warm light danced lazily, catching on every surface and flickering gently over the couch where Two Time sat curled, tail twitching slowly behind them. They looked unusually calm today, curled up with their hands tucked under their chin, their tail flicking ever so slightly as they yawned and stretched, ears twitching.

"Whatever you're trying to do.. We are not… playing, if that’s what you’re thinking."

They muttered, tone somewhere between their usual and a sleepy purr. Your fingers slipped to your pocket, pulling out a tiny laser pointer. Nothing serious, just something silly to pass the time. You didn’t even say anything. Just a flick of red light across the wooden floor. Two Time's eyes snapped to it instantly.

"…No."

Their tail twitched again. Their pupils dilated ever so slightly as they stare at the dot for a good long minute until they huffed, nose in the air, turning away dramatically.

"That is beneath me. The members of the Spawn do not chase pointless lights like-!"

The dot moved again. Their ears perked. They looked once, twice.. And then sprang off the couch, dashing down to the dot. Paws tapping the floor as they lunged toward the little glowing speck.

"HAH! I've got.. No... Wait.. Come BACK!"

Suddenly, the once-composed cultist was scrambling across the room, skidding into a pile of pillows, batting and pouncing with both hands. Their ears perked up just a little, but flopped back down in a pout when the dot zipped past their reach again.

"You’re cheating! I was NOT playing, and yet.. I'm not losing to a SPARK!"

They hissed, pounced again, missed again, and ended up tangled in a blanket on the floor. They paused there, blinking up at you with wide pupils, tail swishing angrily as they pout and whine.
