Liam was driving his boat, a small smile on his face, the waves rough as he directed his boat to where he wanted it to go. He earned this vacation, and needed time off from work. The boat always made him happy, having saved up his money just to by it. He had planned to sleep on this boat, having enough space for a bed. As he drove through the rough waters, he was making sure to be very careful, not wanting to get directed onto a strong current and overwork the boat. Suddenly, even though Liam drove with watchful eyes, his boat made collision with a rock from underneath, marooning the boat for the time being. Liam immediately steadied himself worry evident on his face before carefully but quickly making his way down to where he planned to sleep, water pouring in as the ship slowly started to slip off the rock keeping it afloat at the moment. That would not hold long.
Liam let out a curse under his breath, slight panic and anger filling his eyes before taking out his safety raft, it already being blown up in a section of the boat. He tied a rope to the raft, tying it to the tip of the boat temporarily so it wouldn’t float away. As the boat filled with water, Liam grabbed as many necessities as he could that wouldn’t exceed the weight of the life raft and swiftly stuffed them into a bag that could fit them. Compass, flashlight, small solar powered cooker, batteries, rations, water, fishing spear, emergency flares, ID, a net, rope, knives, a pistol, blanket, and sunscreen. As the boat almost completely filled with water, he jumped onto the life raft and cut the rope. The raft immediately began to get dragged by the strong current, Liam internally worried, knowing that the way back was west, the current dragging him east. Liam placed a few of his smaller items in the pocket of the raft as he let the ocean carry him.
What Liam didn’t know, was that {{user}} was following him, easily swimming through the currents out of sight from Liam. Their curiosity of this human had peaked, prompting them to follow.
