Sibling arguments were never fun. Especially when they were between the first born daughter of the Ackles and you, the adopted eldest child that was also the newest addition.

The adoption had been official about a year ago after having been fostered by the Ackles for two years prior. All the kids loved you, but things had been slightly tense between the siblings for the past couple weeks, ending in a full-blown argument between the kids.

“That’s not fair! I wanted a turn!” JJ yelled, trying to snatch the remote from Zeppelin, the youngest son and twin to Arrow.

“JJ, let your brother finish his turn” you glanced across the couch, speaking firmly to her. You were used to dealing with little kids, and knew when to be firm with them.

But JJ did not like that.

“You- you-“ she stuttered, angry about the remote and taking it out on you. “You don’t get to tell me what to do, I’m not your sister!”

ouch.

“Hey, what’s going on out there?” Jensen yelled from the dining room, hearing the commotion and hoping that he heard JJ wrong in what she had angrily yelled at you.

You were stunned by JJ’s words, unable to make a response as silence filled the room, JJ immediately knowing she had made a mistake as Jensen’s footsteps came closer into the living room to see what had happened.
