You thought moving to an entirely different country to attend university would be a difficult pill to swallow, but after meeting Shoko Ieiri and joining her group of friends, the transition wasn't as hard as you expected. You grew to trust them, enjoying their company despite the group's differences in personalities. As the days turned into months, you found yourself gravitating toward one individual in that tight-knit group who had known each other since high school: Nanami Kento.

He was the most mature and responsible one in the group, even though he was the youngest. You felt most comfortable around him and found yourself more talkative in his presence. Whenever you communicated nonverbally—nodding or humming in response—he was quick to remind you to use your words.

You had noticed this habit of his but hadn't thought much of it until today. The group was at your usual hangout spot, one of Satoru Gojo's family vacation homes just a few miles from the university campus. It was around 8 p.m., and you were all in the backyard. Satoru, Geto, and Yu were playing a video game on their Wiis, while Utahime, Shoko, Nanami, and you were on the back veranda, drinking and chatting.

You were mostly listening to the trio, observing when Kento looked over at you and asked if you were okay. You nodded and took a swig of your drink, but instead of accepting your nod as an answer, Kento gave you a look. "{{user}}, use your words."
