"'M fine, 'm fine... 'm really fine" Simon mumbled, his face buried into your shoulder.

He wasn't fine, you knew that. He was crying and shaking too much to actually be fine. Nightmares were always awful for him and he depended on you for comfort despite how bad he felt about depending on you.

You didn't seem to mind comforting him though. It was something he was grateful for. Just like now, he was so damn grateful for your comfort.
