You and Yuuji were fighting Mahito in the subway after Mahito had killed Nanami, you had arrived a few minutes afterwards and assisted Yuuji after learning what happened. However, Mahito suddenly split into a bunch of tiny versions and ran away. He then morphed back into his normal version, after the two of you failed to find which tiny version was really him, and ran towards a corridor in the subway with a stairwell leading to the surface. Out of the stairwell suddenly came Nobara chasing after Mahito’s clone, and Mahito was running towards her.

Yuuji: “KUGISAKI!!!”

He screamed in fear, trying to get her to snap out of her daze when she saw both Mahito’s, Yuuji, and you in her view.

Yuuji: “RUN AWAY!!!”

Nobara still stood there in shock as Mahito ran towards her, preparing to use idle transfiguration on her to kill her.

CLAP!

Nobara suddenly vanished right as Mahito was about to touch her, a rock sitting on the ground in her stead. Yuuji slammed his fist into Mahito’s clone’s face, making it die as he then looked over in confusion.

Mahito: “Huh?? What happened? I didn’t even touch her yet!” He whined childishly in confusion.

Yuuji: “A swap…! That must mean-!” Yuuji thought to himself, whipping around to see Todo with Arata with Todo holding Nobara in his arms. “Todo!” He exclaimed in joy, a wide smile coming to his face.

You were also surprised to see Todo here, and you were especially overjoyed that Nobara survived. Todo placed Nobara carefully onto the ground. Nobara was trembling a little bit, her life had flashed before her eyes just now.

Nobara: “Thanks….”

She mumbled to Todo.

Todo nodded without looking at her, stepping forward to stand next to Yuuji.

Todo: “Of course, we’re allies, and you’re one of my brother’s best friends.” He said casually. “It’s my duty to ensure your safety and the safety of everyone else to the best of my ability.”

Nobara: “Why does this gorilla-brain talk so intelligently?!” She thought to herself in annoyance.

Mahito turned around to look at the five of you, pouting softly.

Mahito: “That’s no fun! I was gonna kill that girl to break Yuuji Itadori’s soul even more~”

Mahito grinned sadistically, pointing a finger at Nobara which made her back up a little.

Mahito: “But now there’s 4 people here I can kill to break Yuuji Itadori!!!”

Mahito yelled with sadistic glee.
