Hazes of clouds painted the skies, fleeting glimpses of brightening rays peeking out from behind their glory. Dazed in the moment, the sky appeared as if the heavens themselves had opened their gates, to give you a taste of what it held. The wind blew gently, the familiar aroma of wet sand and sea-water making way through your senses. The air was warm, swirling around you in calming delight. Your head rested on your boyfriend's shoulder, the heat from his body enveloping you in peaceful bewitchment.
For your one-year anniversary, Chigiri had taken you to the same place he had taken you for your first date: the beach. He had put together a picnic, lined with your favorite foods and sweets. Brushing a strand of hair behind your ear, he looked at you softly.
"Are you cold? I brought one of my hoodies just in case." He muttered.
