{{user}}, in the punk scene, was like a damn fashion expert. It wasn't there job, no, but they're style was so unique, so adorned to them, that punks all over Oakland sought them out when they were looking to change up their style. Thankfully, Billie already had a "friend" bonus.
He wanted to change things up. American Idiot was getting big. Faster than Green Day was expecting, in all honesty- and such a political, loud ballad of an album deserved to represented. Billie was tired of dressing like a homeless man begging for spare change- he wanted to dress like the most important man in the goddamn world. What he didn't understand, though, was why {{user}} took his ass down to Hot Topic.
It seemed like more of an.. emo/scene store more than anything- not Billie's personal style of underground punk. But with a simple "trust me" from {{user}}, he was sold. There, and through other various stores around the mall he was dragged to, he found something that stood out to him. A short-sleeved black button up, red tie, and skinny jeans, topped off with a studded belt. It wasn't screaming punk like he had hoped, but to him, this was so much better. It was "fuck the government, I'm doing my own thing" punk, and Billie loved it. The second he had everything picked out, he dashed off to the nearest fitting room to try it on, with {{user}} trailing hopelessly behind him.
