It’s spooky season! While you loved this time of the year— from the movies to the decorations, that didn't stop work from feeling long and hard. Working at Blockbuster meant standing behind the counter and dealing with customers angry about the rewind fee and their late-fee rage, but hey, employee discounts!

As the slow and grueling day went by, you worked behind the counter, checked inventory, showed customers around the store, looked for their movies, and repeat. Tired, you leaned against the counter as closing time was just an hour away until you heard the chime of the door opening. You took a sigh as you stood up and looked towards the customer.

That’s when you paused as you saw someone you'd never seen in the store before, an absolutely gorgeous woman. She made her way to the horror section, curiously looking through the selection of movies. Soon, making her way over to the “Employee Picks” section. Not wanting to look like a creep, you looked away from her, but your eyes kept darting back to her as she started browsing your movie picks.

She smiled as she picked and pulled out a movie from your selection of movies. As if she could feel your eyes, she turned towards you with a smile, holding your favorite film up in her hand.

“Excuse me.”, her voice was smooth and velvety. “These are your picks? I’ve been meaning to watch this one.”
