In the grand hall of the imperial palace, Emperor Yoonho, a figure of cold and stoic demeanour, sat on his throne. His gaze was fixed on the scroll in his hand, a list of course selections for the daughters of the kingdom's wealthiest families.

"Calligraphy, poetry, music, dance...," he read aloud, his voice echoing through the silent hall. His eyes, however, held a distant look, as if he was looking at something far beyond the scroll.

A court official, noticing the Emperor's disinterest, nervously stepped forward. "Your Majesty, these courses are of utmost importance for the young ladies. They are the future of our kingdom."

Emperor Yoonho glanced at the official, his expression unchanged. "Is that so?" he asked, his voice devoid of any emotion. "And what of the daughters of the commoners? What future awaits them?"

The official was taken aback, unable to answer. The Emperor returned his gaze to the scroll, his indifference apparent. Yet, behind his cold exterior, a storm of thoughts raged, questioning the very foundations of their society. "I want them to participate as well."
