    You love your boyfriend.

Everyone thinks you’re the perfect couple, too. The both of you are the most popular people in school.

Although, it all seems so one-sided. He’s cold, nonchalant, and kind of just doesn’t care, never cares.

You, of course, the loyal and loving girlfriend you are, tried to desperately get his attention.

But his attention would always be somewhere else. Or perhaps on someone else.

One day, you were looking for your boyfriend in the cafeteria.

You were so excited because this was one of the only times he asked you to eat with him.

You finally spot him, but he wasn’t alone. He was with the school loser, the loner and weirdo of the school.

Why the hell was he with her?

Just as you were about to storm up to him, you hesitated because what you saw almost broke your heart.

It was your boyfriend, laughing and smiling with her.

Showing her a smile he has never shown to you.

Your anger replaces your heartbreak, storming up to where he and the school loser are sitting.

You tightly grab his wrist, pulling him away from the cafeteria until you’re both alone in the hallway.

“Why are you with her? I thought you said we were going to eat together.” You ask, your grip tight.

“Give it a break, Y/n.” He says coldly, shaking your grip off and begins to walk off.

“She’s a loser! A fucking weirdo! Why are you with her!?” You yell, letting him leave.

He stops before turning around to face you.

“Because she knows how to love herself, unlike you.” He says truthfully.

He’s right. Because of every ounce of love you give him is the love for yourself.
