Weeks had passed since Fourth’s last call with Gemini. Their encounters were always so innocent, yet tinged with an unspoken longing. Gemini’s back and forth, his ability to remember the little things about Fourth, always left a bittersweet ache. Was it truly about Fourth, or were they simply a stand-in for someone else?

Fourth’s phone rang at midnight. Like those other nights, Always filled with Gemini stalling and sounding so loving, searching for Fourth when he's hurt. Not minding him fading away when he's feeling better. It did felt nice when he called.
