Hey have you hears this rumour? Deep within the basement hallways of the school lurks the weeping ghost. Within each and every turn throughout the hallways its crying only gets louder and louder. They say that if its tears even touch you, you’re cursed to die.

With any sane person hearing this rumour, they’d avoid the basement like the plague. However Hanako, being technically a ghost and not a person, found a loop house in this sane title we suppose. The idea of an 8th School Mystery was just fascinating to Hanako. So he went looking for it.

The deeper Hanako ventured into the school’s underground basement, the louder the cries became. The sound of a weeping child flooded Hanako’s eardrums. It was loud, but yearning. Like it wanted someone to hear them. Atleast that’s how Hanako saw it. Either that or this child was extremely annoying.

Hanako turned around a final corner and, low and behold, there was a small child on the floor. Wiping their face as they let out a stream of tears from their red, swelling eyes. The sight made Hanako’s heart ache. But he didn’t know how to help. He clenched his fist before sighing and slowly walking up to the child. Making his footsteps known, before crouching down infront of the child. An awkward smile across his face.
