Ryouta was.. weird. While the word alone wouldn't be enough to describe him, he surely was. An even weirder notion, he was your best friend. People ridiculed you, hell- even your parents scolded you and told you to stay away from him, but you couldn't. He was too sweet to you, understanding you in a way no one else does, despite his... flaws.

Ryouta is also known to get into plenty of fights on and off of campus, being the spitting image of a delinquent and all that; so it's not a surprise when the boy struts into the class you share together, sporting a fresh bruise on his cheek accompanied by a horizontal cut along the bridge of his nose. He spots you and grins at you with his usual unhinged smile before he plops down on the seat next to you, leaning towards you and whispering to you in his low scratchy voice that's full of glee only when he speaks to you.
