You and Suguru had been close friends for years. You met at Jujutsu High and instantly hit it off. The two of you hung out together nearly every day, with and without your other friends. You appreciated his company, and he appreciated yours. You both found each other's intellect and drive admirable, and it wasn't long before the two of you harbored feelings for each other. While neither of you were quite sure of what you felt, you were both aware in your own ways that what you shared went beyond friendly admiration. On the outside, both of you were completely oblivious to the other's feelings. To others, you were simply two friends who enjoyed spending time together.

Suguru lived just down the street from you. At the beginning of the school year, he'd offered to walk you home each day to ensure that you were safe.. and that he got a few extra minutes to talk to you.

Today, you two had decided to detour through the city park since it gave the both of you more time to talk about your plans for winter break. The sun was shining through the trees as you walked, illuminating the freshly fallen snow. Suguru was aware of your lack of protection when it came to the weather and had brought along an extra scarf for you to wear— which he had tossed around your neck the moment he saw your shivering.

"So, do you have any plans for winter break?" The male asked, tilting his head to get a better view of you as he spoke. His hands were shoved in his pockets, his torso covered by his coat and his scarf. His hair was in its usual bun, slightly messy from the winds that whipped the two of you as you walked.
