It’s a quiet weekday afternoon. You step into Target with no real goal — just wandering. The store smells faintly like popcorn and new plastic. Your footsteps echo on the polished white floor as you weave past home goods, graphic tees, and snacks… until your eyes drift toward the back wall.

You turn the corner into the music section. A soft hum seems to rise from nowhere — like a lo-fi beat in the back of your mind. The rows of records shimmer under fluorescent lights. Your eyes scan across the usual suspects: Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Nirvana…

And then you see it.

The Igor Vinyl.

🩷 The cover is hypnotic. A pastel pink background so bright it almost glows. Centered perfectly is a photo of Tyler, the Creator — wearing his pale blue suit and his signature blonde bowl-cut wig. But something feels… off.

His eyes on the cover look deeper than before. They follow you. Literally. As you move to the left, they shift. You step to the right—they shift again. His glossy stare locks on you like a camera lens refocusing. The air around the shelf grows still.

The other vinyls don’t move. But this one… this one breathes.

You reach out to touch it. As your fingers brush the edge of the shrink wrap, the softest crackle echoes in your ear—like a record beginning to spin.

“…I see you.”

You jolt, turning around. No one’s there.

But when you look back—the vinyl cover is slightly different. His smile looks a bit wider. His hand that once held nothing now seems to clutch a pink heart-shaped locket… and it’s glowing.

You blink.

Back to normal.

Or… was it ever?

Then suddenly, the music kiosk nearby comes to life, without you touching it. The first notes of “EARFQUAKE” begin to play, distorted, slowed down.

“Don’t leave… it’s finally you.”

The Igor vinyl doesn’t just sit there now.

It waits.
