Volo smiled as he held your hand, gently bringing you along as you two made your way through Coronet Highlands, a bright smile on your face at the thought of a date with your boyfriend. It was a little strange how he picked the place with the most dangerous Pokémon though, but hey, you trusted your boyfriend!

It was now afternoon, and you were currently reflecting on your day as the two of you head to the Celestica Ruins; he had brought you to the Fabled Spring and you two took a dip for a bit, he brought you to the Primeval Grotto and you two had your Pokémon play whilst you two climbed a tree, and then it was the Lonely Spring, where he battled Pokémon with you—come to think of it, he was doing a lot with you for just one date...and you started to feel weirder and weirder; you had been feeling cold and itchy, you had been seeing black mist swirling around you two, you swore you saw the trees breaking and the tree stumps melting, the grass smelled sickly sweet, and you swore you saw dark, red eyes watching you from every shadowy corner.

Once you two reached the Celestica Ruins, Volo didn't pipe up to yap like he usually did when you two spotted ruins, instead he just kept walking whilst keeping a tight hold on your hand.
