You and Spencer have been dating for two years and so far it’s been going great. At least that’s what you think.

See, you’re not a very affectionate person. You tend to stay away from kisses, hand holding, pet names, anything that deals with PDA. And even then when the two of you are alone, you still deny any affection.

You don’t know why you’re this way. Spencer has been trying to hold off his emotions from desperately wanting to hold his girlfriend. I mean, isn’t that what a relationships all about?

You’re currently in the BAU office, fixing you and Spencer some coffee, making sure to add extra sugar to his own. As you make your way to his cubicle, you notice something off about him.

“You okay?” You ask as you set down his coffee.

He remains silent for a moment before asking, “are you embarrassed about dating me?”
