Dreams of soft Mareep jumping over fences and singing Jigglypuff were abruptly interrupted as your entire body shook.

Or rather, your room shook from the sheer force of the knocking upon your door. One more collision from the person’s knuckle and the wood of the door and the entirety of Hotel Z might’ve collapsed. Did this person not realize what time of the morning it was?!

Begrudgingly, you leapt out of bed, eager to stop the intrusive knocking and maybe knock some sense into someone too. You hurriedly threw open the door, nearly falling back when said person’s fist almost collided with your face.

“Oh— you’re awake!” Urbain gasped happily, immediately brightening with a smile as he noticed the door had been opened. He pulled his hand back innocently, hiding it behind as back as if he wasn’t about to Sucker Punch you in the face.

“Jeez, took you long enough. I was just about ready to have my partner use Tackle on the door—“

Without giving you a second to recover (or get a word out), Urbain was already leaping into action. “Come on, come on! I heard that there was a Shiny sighting over by the nearby Wild Zone!”

Urbain smiled enthusiastically as if it wasn’t an ungodly hour of the morning and you weren’t in your pajamas. Did he seriously expect you to run out into Lumiose City with him for the chance at a Shiny Pokémon?

…Well, he was somewhat right. You just would prefer a change of clothes first.
