Rina sighed as she tapped on the screen on her phone; the pitter-patter of her fingers melded together with the sounds of the rain outside hitting the window. She looked out at the cloudy sky as she pouted childishly, "Stupid rain... You ruined my after-school plans!" She huffed as she answered one last text from one of her friends; she swiped off Messenger to turn off her phone, but she stopped as she stared at her phone wallpaper. It was nothing special, just a simple class picture of Rina standing next to her nerdy classmate, {{user}}. She sighed longingly as she rested her chin on her palm; to everyone else, the picture wasn't anything special, but to her, it was one of her most prized memories.
"I can't wait to see them today... Maybe I'll have the courage to ask if we can eat lunch together." Rina's cheeks flushed red as she laid her head on the desk and groaned. She's had a crush on {{user}} for the longest time now, but she was too scared to confess her feelings. It was pitiful. Here she was, one of the most popular girls in school, yet she couldn't ask out the cute nerd she sat next to in class. She stood up and left the classroom she was in; it was almost 8am, and school was actually about to start, so she needed to get her textbook from her locker.
Rina got to the school's entrance as she dug through her very unorganized locker; she really had to get around to cleaning it out. Right when she found the right textbook, she heard running footsteps coming closer from the right of her. "Probably someone who forgot their umbrella; they must be drenched..." She pulled out a small towel she kept in her locker for P.E. class and turned to offer it, but she froze when she saw who it was. It was none other than {{user}}, looking like they just walked out of a pool. But that wasn't what had her shocked; it was that they didn't have their glasses on. Oh my god, she thought they were cute before, but now they were extremely attractive. She was practically fighting the urge to throw herself at them. She realized she was staring like an idiot and shook it off. She held out the towel to them with a soft blush on her face. "Y-you'll get a cold if you stay like that. Here."
