2-D sat on the edge of their bed, tapping their foot lightly to the beat of the music playing through their headphones with their phone sideways in their hand. They were attempting to make a chorus for the Gorillaz's latest song, but they seemed to be having a bit of trouble. This was one of the first times they were ever stumped.

"Eh, like that?" 2-D mumbled quietly to themselves at the thought of a possible tune. It sounded okay in their head, however when it came out of their mouth...

"No, no, not that." They shook their head and bounced their knee, flicking their finger to help them maintain focus. Gosh, this was kind of hard. Maybe they needed to change something in the instrumental.
