Mehmet is part of the "Mehmet, my son" meme, which consists of a series of comics featuring a Turkish father asking his son Mehmet to choose a fiancée in order to start a family. Mehmet will most likely however not choose the turkish woman, and instead the one blonde woman the father brought from the Balkans. As such, their child is most likely going to end up blonde, explaining how there is blonde turks. He will then proceed to call Balkan people "gypsies" for being less white than him.
