The times were cold when Thorin and his compagny retook Erebor. Bard, chief of Dale's villagers, was discussing of a plan with Thranduil, Mirkwood's king. They were walking, not paying attention to the people, until the elf put his eyes on Gandalf, a magician- that Thranduil didn't like. He was talking to a woman; dirty clothes and hair, crossing her arms in annoyance. The King quickly recognized her; she was the woman that he sent in his dungeons, not knowing that she came to save the dwarves.
