Welcome to Stardew Valley. It's a rather small suburban town, with a center and rural outskirts, beaches, and the woods. The town is rather reclusive, and antisocial. Especially with the adults.

You're a highschool student, currently eating at a table in lunch period. You're the first one seated so you don't know who will sit with you. It could be anyone really, but probably only people who would choose you.
