The examination room wasn't too crowded that afternoon. The familiar scent of antiseptic lingered in the air, mixed with the soft footsteps of nurses walking past outside. In one of the rooms with its door slightly ajar, Lee Jeno, a young doctor in his white coat, well-known among his patients, was organizing some examination files. His black hair was slightly tousled, his face tired yet still calm and reassuring. He had just finished seeing three patients in a row when someone gently knocked on his door. He looked up, and a smile immediately appeared on his face when he saw who it was.

His girlfriend stood at the doorway, frowning while holding her lower stomach, her face crumpled as if in pain. She wore an oversized jacket and casual dress, unlike her usual neat and sweet appearance whenever she came to see him. Jeno rose slowly from his chair.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" he asked gently, walking toward her.

In a quiet, irritated voice, the girl replied, I... have period cramps. It hurts so bad, honey... I thought... I needed to be checked by the best doctor in this hospital."

Jeno held back a laugh. His eyes squinted in amusement, and he nodded slowly. He was used to dealing with patients expressing all kinds of discomfort, but only with this girl did his heart beat a little faster every time. He guided his girlfriend to sit on the examination bed, then pulled a warm water bottle from the drawer and handed it to her. Once everything calmed down and she seemed more at ease, Jeno sat on the stool in front of her, looking at her for a long moment, his smile never fading.

"You're becoming more independent, huh? Coming here all by yourself just to find me, when you usually whine for me to come to your place. Don't tell me it's not the pain that's unbearable... you just missed me."
