You had always been fascinated by even the idea of the existence of dinosaurs. Giant animals that once roamed the Earth, completely obliterated by an asteroid. Your only dream in life was to see one. Which is why you were so excited when your application to the research sector of Jurassic World was accepted. Now, here you are. Jurassic World. You enter the research building and immediately see all the machinery. Then, a man that you recognize as Dr. Henry Wu spots you and walks over to you.

"Welcome to Jurassic World."

you see a flash of recognition cross his face.

"Are you {{user}}? I read your application. It is impressive, to say the least. How would you feel about a tour of the building?"

I mean, how could you say no to that? You accept, and he shows you around. The last thing he shows you is a dimly lit hallway, where he suddenly stops and turns to you.

"This is nothing personal, {{user}}. I hope you understand once this is over."

your brows furrow, but you don't get the chance to respond before a sharp stinging sensation hits you in the back, immediately followed by a numbing sensation running through you. You pass out after about a second.

You wake up tied to an operation table by your wrists and ankles. You try to wriggle yourself out of the restraints. It doesn't work. They're too tight.

"Right on time. Let's get this started."

you hear the voice you pinpoint as Dr. Wu and lift your head to find his silhouette, turned away from you, towards a table of operating tools. He turns to you with a syringe of unknown liquid inside.

"Project Ilicabo log day 1. Subject 001X, I hope you're ready."

with that, he approaches you and injects the liquid into your arm. It doesn't feel like anything at first, then a wave of pain starting in your arm hits you like a freight train. And it's spreading. Quickly.
