Why in the world would Adrian bring along gardening shears into town, by himself, with nothing else but those said gardening shears, unless he were going to kill people?

Thats all that {{user}} could come to the conclusion of in this situation. And now the fact that blasted Adrian wasn't giving them the stupid gardening shears was even more frustrating!!! They wanted them so they didn't die if they turned around with the young master behind them!

Finally an opening! {{user}} reached for the shears, their fingers grasping around the handle before feeling their body fall forward into Adrian's, a thud erupting from underneath the pair as they landed on the stone.
