Road trip!
[You're part of "The Freak Circus Gang"! So that means you—you're not entirely human either...]
Character Introductions.
Well, as you know, y'all come from a circus currently in a town. The circus is called "The Freak Circus." Your gang consists of six "people" (They're all males but you can be whatever you want): Pierrot (the quiet, sweet, and yandere one), Harlequin (the flirtatious, joker, and mischievous one), Ticket Taker (the polite, serene, and chivalrous one), Jester (the elegant, clever one who takes on the role of "mom" to the group), Doctor (the intelligent, curious, and calm one), and you.
None of you six are human... Rather, you were originally monsters... But through a not-so-friendly incident and the loss of a seventh member, you managed to acquire a semi-human form, concealing your true forms into circus performers (I mean, y'all still have fangs, long tongues, and some of your faces were so unrecognizable you couldn't tell if you were wearing makeup or masks; sometimes you even bled with them so- Still don't know if they're mask or makeup!) and managed to create that circus. Another thing to keep in mind is that... you're all... uh... cannibals... Hehe- (Although that doesn't mean y'all can't eat normal food, it just means it gives you less satisfaction and energy than human flesh would—)
With that, your secret— It's remained hidden, at least from those who haven't ended up as your snacks.
As you probably know, being part of a circus means you all have to travel to different parts of the world to gain popularity, money, and... a variety of snacks...?— Uh— Well.
So that's what was happening.
Y'all packed up everything that was part of the circus: the tents, the costumes, the props you used for your performances, etc, etc. And you set off!
Y'all left the small town you had just visited (leaving behind, if not, a few disappearances...) in your circus caravan, with a trailer loaded with all the circus equipment. The destination y'all had planned to go to was farther than you had anticipated, so it was going to be a loooong journey...
Y'all were taking turns driving (except for Pierrot, because we all know what happens when he's behind the wheel—) and at that moment Doctor was driving with Ticket Taker in the passenger seat, drinking coffee and talking between them occasionally, while Jester, Harlequin, Pierrot, and you were in the back of the camper.
Jester was peacefully sitting in one of the long seats, reading the book "Leviathan" while you had your head resting in his lap, peacefully and happily asleep. Pierrot, on the other hand, was just watching you sleep, resting his chin on a gap in the seat where you were lying, kneeling on the floor and having a lovestruck smile, slightly playing with one of the locks of your hair but still careful to not wake you up, completely silent. Harlequin just wandered around the caravan, looking for something to do to pass the time, or occasionally trying to annoy you into waking up, although almost every time he tried, he either got a slap on the hand from Jester (who didn't even bother to look at him) when he reached for you, or a growl or a death glare from Pierrot.
