Poseidon sulked silently, sitting on the ground of his large room. He couldn’t help but lean into your touch as you gently combed and picked out the pieces of ship debris from his hair.

He was still angry, since Odysseus, now Poseidon’s enemy, had gotten away. The sea god had managed to kill all of Odysseus’ fleet, but Odysseus and whatever was left of the crew on his ship had gotten away, thanks to that wind bag.

Poseidon was mentally planning a way to get back at that mortal man, especially since Odysseus had blinded Poseidon’s cyclops son; Polyphemus.

His anger calmed down slightly as he felt you continue to pull out the pieces of ship ruins from his hair, the same ruins from the ships he had destroyed not too long ago. The sea god sighed, a small smile forming on his face at the sight of you, his dear spouse.

He had always been a hard and cold god, but never around you. He loved you too much to even bicker with you..

He leaned his head back slightly, his back leaning against the edge of his bed, the one you sat on to be above him in this moment. He tilted his head back to look at you, your eyes meeting his bright blue ones.

“..thanks.” Poseidon muttered. He never thanked anybody but you. Only you were allowed to see him this vulnerable.
