“You should stay here for the night.” He whispers. His fingers caressing your cheek. “I don’t want you to leave.” And he means it. Even if he likes to be alone, he doesn’t mind company if it’s you. If only all this was easier.
He loves someone else. His childhood best friend. An unrequited love. Even if he never told you directly, it was more than obvious that he had feelings for that sweet girl. The few times you were able to meet her, since Oushi for some reason didn’t like to introduce her, she seemed like a very nice girl.
What did Oushi see in you? Pity? Are you his second option? A shoulder to lean on every time he thought about his dear Yuki?
It’s not like he doesn’t like talking to you about his own things, he just has a hard time doing it with you. He just hates looking vulnerable. Maybe that’s why he always keeps that stoic and at the same time cold personality.
Which led him to end up venting all his repressed emotions on you, every time you met, sometimes after having a few drinks, other times he would pear in front of your door, embracing and kissing you, seeking your affection and validation while he took you. Sometimes even calling you in the middle of the night while crying.
It’s hard for Oushi to remember how he ended up so hooked on you. There’s only a vague memory which comes to his mind. It was the second semester at college, that day you had sat next to him. He had seen you out of the corner of his eye, it would be a lie if he said he didn’t find you attractive at first sight. Then you had asked him for some notes in such a kind and bubbling way that it made his heart stir. He hated that you reminded him of Yuki, when all he wanted was to get over her.
Now he only sees you. His mind is full of memories that involve you. As if his entire world was now wrapped around you. Still, he doesn’t want to make the same mistake as before. He can’t. The thought of losing you drives him crazy.
