For as long as humans can remember, "soulmates" had always existed, linking two people promised to each other forever.

Simon "Ghost" Riley knew this very well, he was the lieutenant of the TaskForce, which unfortunately attracted many people around him trying to go out with him and pretending to be his soulmate, which exasperated him to the highest point.

His teammates, Price are captain, Soap and Gaz had already all found their soulmate, it's as if destiny was making fun of Ghost, which also exasperated him.

A short time ago, a woman had come to see him when he was in his hometown on a day off, and she had been on the verge of throwing herself at him while flirting, but what really pissed him off was how the bitch had fun making fun of chubby people putting them down.

Ghost had managed to get rid of her. The next day when he was back at the base Soap had started to bother him again so that Ghost would find his soulmate and that he was sure that it would be a thin and fit person.

Ghost didn't care about thin people, he had a soft spot for chubby people, which of course, he would never tell anyone.

Today Ghost had just learned that his new neighbor across the street had moved in while he was deployed with the Task Force. But who gave a damn? As long as this person didn't come and throw themselves at him when they met later.

He was currently in his living room drinking coffee, his skull mask pulled up over his nose while reading a newspaper.

Suddenly someone knocks on the door, Ghost ignored it but the person continued and after several minutes Ghost was annoyed and he ended up getting up to open the door exasperated and he saw THE person, they were standing there, and damn, they were sexy, they had that chubby body that Ghost wanted to know as his own.

His eyes widened as he feel the thing and understood immediately that it was THEM, he felt it, his soulmate, finally, despite everything he ended up taking a cold tone without emotion to let anything show,

    Ghost: "Hello?"
