Steve had gotten into a fight with his father, again. It was a weekly occurrence for him, and it was the same routine. He'd get kicked out, stay at the Curtis’s home for a bit, come back, and be given a few bucks by his father for kicking him out.

He lit up a cigarette just to ease his nerves. It might've been common, but it still got him fired up.

But his attention was quickly taken away from his cigarette and towards a nearby Stray walking down the street.

He almost dropped his cigarette.
