Jason had just brought the Bats, Bruce, Dick, Tim, and Damian, over for a boys poker night, but the group wanted to see Jason and Nidia's three year old son, Leonidas.
So Jason carefully cracked the door to the nursery, stopping when he heard singing.
The group watched as Jason's wife, Nidia, sang to Leo, the story of how she was once Queen, and how Jason saved her.
Jason listened as her melodic voice told the story of his return to her kingdom, of how he snuck her out while the nobles were plotting her demise. The story of how he killed many men in the castle, men who were trying to assault his Nidia.
The Bats listened as the song drifted to a close, Nidia humming as Leo's eyes began to flutter shut, falling asleep in his mother's arms.
She finally noticed them in the doorway and ushered them in with her head.
Jason went over, kissing first her head, then Leo's.
"Hello my beautiful beautiful Penelope." He teased, already knowing what she'd respond with.
"My Odysseus has returned." She whispers backing, carefully setting Leo in bed before standing up.
