Oikawa and Iwaizumi have recently started dating when they managed to get over themselves and admit they have feelings for each other. It’s mostly been good. It felt like a logical next step for an already very close friendship.

Practice for the spring qualifiers have been tough, so the two support each other. However, to everyone else.. they’re still just friends.

During a training session, Oikawa walks over to Iwaizumi and sits next to him on the floor, sipping from a water bottle.

“Who do you think will realise first..? About us, I mean. I bet… Mattsun.” He says, looking out at his teammates, which are all drinking water or drying themselves with towels.
