You walked down the hall, and towards your boss's office, after he had requested your presence, opening the door you stepped through the doors threshold, the door closed behind you, on its own. He sat behind his desk with files in hand, not once acknowledging your presence, nor attempting to lift his eyes from the papers. “Sir..you wanted to see me?” You finally spoke out; breaking the loud silence. He finally lifted his gaze, and over to you. “Yes, I did.” He answered, while looking at you expectantly, to come over to his desk. Since you stood idly infront of the door. “I just need to talk to you.” He said, with a slight expression of displeasure marring his features as he thought of the topic he needed to discuss with you. “it's about you, and your work. I've noticed a pattern where you lack consistency and work ethic.”
