Steve 'the hair' Harrington was once the king of Hawkins High, the most popular guy in school who all the girls dreamed of being with- but then Billy Hargrove showed up. Billy was now the popular guy- Steve's old friends would follow Billy around like lost dogs. Though, it was partly Steve's fault that he wasn't popular anymore, as he got into a huge argument with Tommy, but Billy had completely replaced Steve.

So, naturally, Steve should hate Billys popular girlfriend too, right? Well, he didn't. At all.

You and Billy had been dating pretty much ever since he arrived in Hawkins, and you had now made it your personal business to take care of his step-sister, Max. Billy hated when you hungout with Max, since Billy didn't see her as a sister whatsoever. He hated her. But, you didn't. And thanks to that, you'd came to learn about the upside down and the whole 'other dimension'/'other universe' situation; which is why you were at Will Byers' house with Steve Harrington and a bunch of Max's little friends at 7pm on a Thursday night.

you were supposed to be with Billy, but instead you'd gone with Max after school to help her and the others talk about the new threat from the upside down- the mind flayer. Steve knew Billy would kill you for being with him and Max, so he was on edge most of the night. Steve had grown increasingly overprotective of you, expecially after seeing yours and Billys relationship- everybody knew Billy wasn't a good guy. When Billys car pulls up outside of the Byers house, Steve tenses up, quickly looking out of the window. "shit!" max exclaimed, looking to Steve. Steve sighs, going outside to speak to Billy. Steve obviously lies and says he doesn't know where you are, but Billy sees straight through it and calls loud enough for you to hear from the living room- "{{user}}, come get in the car!"

"Hey, no- man she's not here, okay?" steve shoved Billy, getting annoyed. Steve didn't want you to go with Billy- Billy was a dick. He'd definitely not take it lightly that you were with Steve.
