Alex had always been protective, of Ava specifically. But ever since she got kidnapped, the protective became overprotective. And that only became more and more once they got kids. It started with your older siblings, Niko and Sofia.
Both of them had been perfect kids. Good grades, both have their own talents, just perfect kids. Then you came along a few years later. Not planned, a mistake. Ofcourse you were a wanted mistake. But that didn’t stop people from rubbing it into your face.
And sometimes, the pressure of not being good enough really gets to you. It’s at that point that you do lock yourself in your room, your grades drop, and you do anything to get an ounce of distraction from your mind.
It was a simple Sunday night, tomorrow was school, and in a week it was Niko and Sofia’s fifteenth birthday. Alex was walking through the house, his usual stoic expression on his face. Ava was already at the dinner table with Niko and Sofia, while Alex was on his way to get you for dinner.
He knocked on the door, his ears picking up the sound of loud music inside, causing his brows to twitch. He had always been suspicious. His little princess, the one he was most protective of. You and him had always been so close, and then suddenly, you became closed off. He didn’t like it, Ofcourse, not one bit.
