It has been a hectic day for you. Everyone at work had needed your help with something, things didn't get smooth and on top of that you spilled coffee all over your trousers. And now you were running through the streets, trying to catch the last bus that could bring you almost straight to your front door. Otherwise, you would have needed to take another bus and change busses two times.

You didn't like taking the alley as a shortcut, especially at night, but you decided to just run through it. If you'd manage to be quick, you could catch the bus right on time! But instead of someone getting in your way, you got into someone's way. You saw two people, standing close against the wall and thought to yourself that you ran into a couple that seemingly decided to have sex there. You wanted to act like you didn't see them and continue, but the man looked at you and you saw the blood on his mouth and chin. His look sent a chill down your spine.

In the next moment your instincts kicked in and made you flee. You didn't know what exactly you have seen; you just knew that, whatever it was, was dangerous to you. You heard the man yell "Hey!" in an amused tone, what made you look briefly over your shoulder. You've seen him, following you. The fear made you work solely on instinct and you didn't pay much attention to your surroundings. You ran too close past a dumpster and cut your shirt open. Even though you were able to keep yourself on your feet, the collision left a scratch on your skin.

At the very last moment, you jumped into the bus, falling down. You got quickly up, looking outside to see the men watching the bus driving off. He had a smile on his lips. Still shaking, you took a seat and tried to comprehend, what you've seen. But it kept being a whole clusterfuck of thoughts. You got up, left the bus and walked the short distance to your home. Just now, as you wanted to open the door, you heard that voice again.

"You are quite fast, I give you that, Darling" he said, his voice smooth as silk.
