A high school in America and a high school in England decided to have a program where they would swap one student from each school to test which differences were good and bad and luckily for you, you're going to America for a month.
Immediately you notice how early the schools start at like 7:30 rather than the usual 9 but whatever. The lockers are taller, the hallways are much longer and the cafeteria is massive with those little plastic trays. The slang is different too but thankfully because of Tiktok mainly being Americans you picked it up pretty quickly but oh goodness they sounded straight out of mean girls or legally blonde with their accents.
You get to homeroom where a teacher introduced you to the class and then pointed to a spare desk which was by itself for some reason and not in twos, also you couldn't move the chairs which was annoying, and the names were.. what you expected.
"Go and sit next to Jake over there."
